We'll gather with volunteers, get fired up, and head out to connect with neighbors about the issues that matter most. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or it's your first time canvassing, we'll provide everything you need, including training, materials, and a great team.

Are our elections here in Illinois in danger? At this public panel discussion, Cook County Deputy Clerk Ed Michalowski will talk about what Cook County Clerk Monica Gordon and her office is doing to protect voters and their votes in this important election. Former Congresswomen and Eighth Cong. Candidate Melissa Bean will discuss federal legislation regarding voting, and Ed Yohnka, director of communications and public policy for the Illinois ACLU, will discuss the larger issue of what threats our elections are facing about what voters can do to protect their vote.

Celebrating Uyghur culture, food, and community!
We’ll start by learning how to make traditional pulled noodles, then sit down together for an authentic Uyghur dinner at Uyghur Lagman House located at 2997 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadows
Your meal includes puffy bread, salad, stir fry, cake, and homemade juice. The cost is $38 per person, plus tax and a 20% tip.
